Fifth Meeting of Network Monitoring Teams

The Network Monitoring Special Interest Group (NM-SIG) has scheduled a meeting during the 20th annual FIRST conference in Vancouver (June 22-27, 2008). This meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 24th 14:00-16:30.

Theme

This year's NM-SIG meeting focuses on the theme:
"Monitoring and Detection of Fast-Flux Service Networks"

Agenda

We have invited three speakers who will give a presentation on this theme.

The last item on the agenda is called 'Bring your demo'. The idea is that NM-SIG attendees can give a short demo or chat of five minutes about monitoring tools that they are using. The goal is to give you the opportunity to present monitoring tools and that interested NM-SIG attendees can find you during the rest of the week. In theory we have time for three attendees to give a five minutes demo. You can contact me or Jeroen van Os (see contact details), if you would like to give a demo. Registration for a demo is on a first come, first serve bases.

Presentations slides in PDF format are available for FIRST members only, directly through the Members only website, which you can access using your certificate.

Registration

We have reserved a room for a maximum of 60 persons. If you would like to attend the NM-SIG, contact me or Jeroen van Os. We will put you on the attendee list.

We will start subscription on a registration only bases. If there are seats available we will offer these seats to FIRST members only. People on the attendee list are assured that they can attend the meeting.

Please carry your conference batch because we need to verify if you have registered.
