Paul is as an analyst with Forrester in the Networks & Telecoms team. He focuses on enterprise security technologies such as firewalls, encryption technologies, and network security appliances. His current research focuses on the adoption of security appliances, and public key infrastructure (PKI) technologies as well as the role f security in the modern IT environment.
Prior to joining Forrester in 2004, Paul spent 7 years working as a systems security architect with the Global Security Practice at Unisys Corporation. While at Unisys, he worked extensively with both commercial and public sector organizations in North America and Europe.
He has comprehensive experience helping to define security strategy and policy as well as the design and implementation of security architectures, identity management and PKI. He also has considerable experience in the audit, assessment and benchmarking of organizations' security programs.
Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Oxford University and is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
