The EU policy agenda - Network and information security among top priorities

Under the umbrella of the Lisbon Strategy, the European Commission Communication "i2010 - A European Information Society for growth and employment"1, highlighted the importance of network and information security for the creation of a single European information space. The availability, reliability and security of networks and information systems are increasingly central to our economies and society. In his speech the Executive Director of the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) will give an overview of the policy process on European level, new tasks and functions for the ENISA and his vision for the future of NIS in Europe - and beyond!
