FIRST releases 2018-2019 Annual Report
The Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams releases its third annual report, covering the scope of its activities from the 2018 conference in Kuala Lumpur, through its 2019 annual event in Edinburgh.
June 6th, 2019 – The Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST) today announces the release of its annual report, covering one year of activities supporting the incident response community.
This document covers FIRST’s activity in its special interest groups, its work to develop standards, and the various events organized throughout the year. In addition, the report includes a membership update, financial update, and an overview of the infrastructure investments the organization has made in the last year.
The report was edited by Thomas Schreck, Chair of FIRST. He said: “This Annual Report helps our members, grantors, and others with an interest in FIRST learn more about us as an organization. It provides an update on our progress in building a global, effective and capable incident response community.”
This year’s report covers the year of June 2018 through June of 2019. The report has been made available at https://www.first.org/about/reports/FIRST-Annual-Report-2018-2019.pdf.
