A place to share and learn from each other
The value of joining FIRST depends on the level of participation and effort that a team invests. FIRST organizes regular in-person, hybrid, and virtual events where members can learn from subject matter experts on the most relevant topics in the industry. FIRST also has several Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and Standards Groups made up of volunteers chartered on tasks that help support and connect the community. Membership in FIRST enables incident response teams to respond to security incidents more effectively by providing access to best practices, tools, and a trusted global network of over 700 teams and liaisons for exchanging information. t is a place where organizations from various sectors, regions, of different sizes and constituencies, with differing levels of expertise and resources, can share and learn from one other.
