Call for Speakers
PSIRT Technical Colloquium 2018

Honeywell is hosting a TC focused on PSIRTs in Atlanta, GA, USA on February 27 – 28, 2018 (two days). The TC is open to Members and Non-Members alike, oriented for those are part of PSIRT or are considering forming a PSIRT.
The Theme for this year is: "Prioritization, Response and Communication"
This is a Call for Papers for this Technical Colloquia. We will accept papers until January 26, 2018.
Papers should be oriented on Product Security Incident Response Team process and maturity or tooling that supports them.
Day 1 (February 27) will start with a plenary session, then break into two tracks for the presentations much like were at the two previous years (as were hosted by IBM who has graciously passed the torch over).
There will be a Social Event that evening (the 27th), much as we had last year for all attendee's. Day 2 (February 28) will turn to PSIRTs conducting a series of interactive discussions or BOFs on PSIRT related issues. A heavy focus will be on subjects raised by those attending as we construct maturity models in support of the PSIRT Services Framework. We look to continue the discussions on what others do and how (this is really a learning / sharing set of discussions and will be limited to PSIRTs).
Day 2 areas under consideration include (we welcome suggested topics to be included):
- Maturity of processes for: Triage and how cases can be accelerated
- Ticketing / tracking systems - what works and what have you discarded
- Lessons learned this past year with priority to any PSIRTs that have instituted portions of the PSIRT Framework
- Handling high priority cases (internal and external lessons – coordination’s that went well or epically failed)
Notification coordination when you are about to release
Other subjects:
- Continued Disclosure Framework / best practices
- Where is Bi-lateral disclosure
- Notification of impending Disclosure to downstream external stakeholders
- Product focused Threat Intelligence
- Researchers - what have we learned and how can we improve relations and response
