August 2007 FIRST Technical Colloquium

Kuala Lumpur, (MY) — 22-24 August, 2007

The Forum for Incident Response and Security Team (FIRST) was established with the vision of providing access of best practices, tools and trusted communications among member incident response teams. The FIRST Technical Colloquium (TC) provides a discussion forum for FIRST member teams to share information about vulnerabilities, tools and other issues that affect the operation of the incident response and security teams. The FIRST TC is hosted by the members and takes place usually every quarter.

The next coming TC will be hosted by MyCERT, CyberSecurity Malaysia at Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It will include a wide range of presentations and hands-on workshops on diverse computer security issues such as privacy, standards, cyber crime, law enforcement, vulnerabilities, damage mitigation and many other related issues that will include references on relevant case studies. This event is open to FIRST members and invited guests.
