Curaçao 2013 FIRST Technical Colloquium

FIRST Technical Colloquia & Symposia provide a discussion forum for FIRST member teams and invited guests to share information about vulnerabilities, incidents, tools and all other issues that affect the operation of incident response and security teams.
This will be the first FIRST TC in the Caribbean! It will be co-located with LACNIC 20 / LACNOG 2013 (October 29th to November 1st), and with the 5th Latin American and Caribbean CSIRTs Regional Meeting.
Important information:
- There will be NO registration fee;
- TC attendees will also be able to attend LACNIC 20 / LACNOG 2013 for free, LACNIC is graciously waiving the Conference fee for FIRST members;
- The TC will be open for attendance by non members.

Call for speakers
We are seeking FIRST members interested in presenting during the TC. Some suggested topics are as follows:
- Lessons learned, case studies, etc.
- Attack trend updates (malware, bots, DDoS, etc);
- DNS, IPv6 and rounting security;
- Incident response tools, trends and security technologies;
- Other topics relevant to incident response.
The public is exptected to be comprised of FIRST members, CSIRTs from the Latin American and Caribbean Region that are not members yet, plus network operators and security professionals from the region.
For your submission, please provide the following information to curacao-tc@first.org:
- Title;
- Brief Summary (Abstract);
- Presenter's Name, Affiliation and short Bio;
- Estimated Time.
