NetApp will host the 5th Annual PSIRT Technical Colloquium on March 4th-5th, 2020, in Durham, North Carolina, USA.

The theme for this year is: Moving the Ball Forward. The TC is open to members and non-members alike, focusing on organized PSIRTs or are considering the formation of a PSIRT.

Call for Speakers

The Call for Papers (CFP) for  PSIRT Technical Colloquium 2020 is open until January 17th, 2020, at 23:59 UTC. The theme is:  Moving the Ball Forward.

The schedule is: 

Day 1 (Wednesday, March 4th): full-day plenary, followed by a social event that evening.
Day 2 (Thursday, March 5th): combination of presentations and Birds of a Feather (BoF) discussions. We look to continue the discussions on what others do and how; this is a learning/sharing set of discussions and will be limited to PSIRTs.

Papers should be focused on Product Security Incident Response Teams and Operations; the theme; or the suggested topics listed below:

• PSIRT Vulnerability coordination best practices
• CVSS and assessing risk - the contrast
• Handling high priority cases (internal and external lessons – coordination’s that went well or epically failed)
• Handling high priority cases (internal and external lessons)
• How is your PSIRT structured (centralized / distributed / hybrid) and why, with lessons learned
• Lessons learned this past year with priority to any PSIRTs that have instituted portions of the PSIRT Framework
• Maturity of processes for: Triage and how cases can be accelerated
• Notification coordination when you are about to release
• Product focused Threat Intelligence
• PSIRT Framework services and practices
• Finders - what have we learned and how can we improve relations and response
• Ticketing / tracking systems - what works and what have you discarded
• Where is Bi-lateral disclosure
