- Getting to the Kempinski Hotel Muscat from the Airport: The Muscat International Airport is roughly 8.5 kilometers (5.28 miles) from the Kempinski property. - Taxi Fair: Taxi cars are available and easily accessible at Muscat International Airport. If you have not made prior arrangements, 'Marhaba' airport metered taxis are available for an estimated price of OMR 8 to Al Mouj community. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes.
- Driving Directions: Follow our directions from Muscat International Airport to the hotel, situated in Muscat's thriving waterfront community of Al Mouj. From the airport, head to Route 1, turning right and travelling west. Continue along Route 1 for 6.5 km, then take the right-hand exit at the intersection onto Al Mouj Street travelling past Al Mawalih Park on your right. Continue along Al Mouj Street. At the roundabout, head straight-on (second exit), turn right onto Street 6, then head across four roundabouts, taking the fourth exit at the fourth roundabout. The hotel will be on your right.
Visitors to Oman must obtain a Visa prior to travel unless they come from one of six Oman visa exempt countries (Behrain, Kuwait, New Zealand, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates). Nationals of other countries and territories can apply for visas online which are valid for a period of 30 days. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months. Applications can be made through the Royal Oman Police portal. If you’re travelling as a tourist, you can apply for an unsponsored visa. For all other visas, please follow the guidance on the portal.
