2012 FIRST Symposium, São Paulo

FIRST Symposia event are restricted to FIRST members only and provide a discussion forum for FIRST member teams to share information about vulnerabilities, incidents, tools and all other issues that affect the operation of incident response and security teams.

Symposia typically provide a full day of plenary sessions for informal discussions and presentations on topics of interest to the FIRST membership. They are more sensitive in nature and related to the day-to-day work of participants. Day two is a series of interactive hands-on classes taught by leading security experts in small groups of FIRST team members.

The FIRST Symposia are typically hosted by members, and since 2005, are being organized on a regional basis in Latin-America, North-America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

The inaugural FIRST Symposium in South America will be held in São Paulo, Brazil from 27-30 March 2012. This event is being supported and hosted by FIRST and several of our South American teams including CERT.br/NIC.br, Telefonica/TERIS, and CAIS/RNP.
